Hey, I’m Alexander! I’ve been playing hockey for a while now, and it’s something I’m super passionate about. I love how it challenges me and helps me grow both on and off the ice. Some of the coolest things I’ve gotten to do in hockey are:
U13 Australian National Development Camp: I got the chance to attend the U13 Australian National Development Camp, which was such an amazing experience! It was an awesome opportunity to train with some of the best young players in the country and learn from top coaches. It definitely pushed me to become a better player and showed me what it takes to compete at a higher level.
U13 & U15 ACT State Teams: I’ve been lucky enough to play for the ACT teams in both the U13 and U15 age groups. Being on those teams has been a huge highlight of my hockey journey. I’ve learned a lot about teamwork and what it means to represent my region in big competitions. The experience has been a great way to push myself and meet players from all over.
Sea Cadets: Besides hockey, I’m also really involved in the Sea Cadets, where I’ve learned leadership, discipline, and how to work well with others in all kinds of situations. It’s helped me grow a lot as a person, and I’ve even taken on leadership roles that have taught me how to guide and support others.
ACADEMIC GOALS
My academic goal is to consistently achieve the highest level of performance by maintaining an average of 85% or higher across all subjects. I am committed to developing strong study habits, and perusing to be the best in every aspect of my academic journey.
ATHLETIC GOALS
My athletic goals are to make the U15 Australian development camp and play in the U15 and U18 A.C.T state squads and to score a hat-trick in a U15 state game. I have also travelled 16,000 kilometres to develop my hockey skills and learn how to live without a billet family.
