David Beacock

I really enjoy biking, riding my scooter, golf, and playing lacrosse. I am able to take jumps and perform other tricks on my bike and scooter. My lacrosse team made it to qualifiers and finished 7th in the world. My goal was to make Team Ontario in the box division. Last year in hockey my team made it to OMHA and was the only team to beat the champions. I fundraise strongly for the Terry Fox Skate at school. I help my mom at her office with the charitable events and donations we make to our communities. I am a strong social activist and always make sure that everyone is welcome and treated equally.

ACADEMIC GOALS

Academically I would like to get good grades and continue to improve each year. My goal would be to finish the school year with A’s in every subject. In the classroom and on the ice I want to be a leader by setting an example. I hope to have a high enough average to get into University of Michigan for math or history.

ATHLETIC GOALS

Athletically I would like to continue to improve my game, in both hockey and lacrosse. I want to be a top player in both sports. I want coaches to want me on their team. Playing at the top level in both sports is on my goal list. I hope that the University of Michigan can see me so I can play hockey there. I look up to is Auston Matthews. I really like Matthews because I think our game play is similar. Neither of us are the fastest on the ice, but we have very good hands and contribute to a team game.
