Mylie Ellis

I have been a student at Victus for four years now and I’ve loved every second of it! I’m looking to excel both at hockey and academics this year.

ACADEMIC GOALS

My academic goals this year are to keep my grades over 90%. Another goal is to make sure I do all my homework and finish it at my best ability.

ATHLETIC GOALS

My goals for the future are to go on a scholarship to a good university or collage. Another one of my goals is to play for Team Canada when I’m older.

OTHER INTERESTS

My other interests and hobbies are volleyball and golf. I enjoy playing beach volleyball with my friends and going golfing with my family. I also play a bit of soccer in the summers.

VOLUNTEERING

I do lots of volunteer work with my team and love helping out with my community when they need it.

PEOPLE I LOOK UP TO/PLAYERS I MOST RESEMBLE IN MY PLAYING STYLE

A player that I look up to is Laura Fortino. One reason why I look up to her is that she plays for the Olympics. I look up to her not only because she plays in the Olympics but she is my favorite hockey player. Another reason why I look up to her is she is nice and funny. I met her and every time we talk she makes me laugh. A resemblance that I have with Laura Fortino is that we both play defense. It’s so cool that we play the same position because when my dad and I go on the ice with her we can work on the same thing. Those are some reasons why I like Laura Fortino.
