Olivia Hardman

My name is Olivia Hardman. I’m from Oakville, ON. This year I am playing for Guelph Jr. Gryphons U18AA. Within my game, I am a 2-way defender, looking for opportunities to contribute to the play. By using situational awareness in my game (ex: scanning ice, shoulder checks, etc) I make smart plays both offensively and defensively. I am a gritty and determined player, firmly believing that while you can’t win every interaction on every play, you can commit to quick recoveries and never give up. I strive to maintain high academic standards by continuing to keep my average in the 90s. Last year I received 6 awards (Academic Excellence in English, Academic Excellence in Art, Academic Excellence in Science, Award for Core Values, Award for Learning Skills/Work Habits and Overall Academic Excellence).

ACADEMIC GOALS

This year, I want to maintain an average in the mid to high 90s (4.0 GPA).

ATHLETIC GOALS

This year, I want to take full advantage of the opportunities at Victus, persistently working hard everyday, in order to become the best player I can be. Through hard work and perseverance, I will build the skills to earn a place on a U22 Elite team and set myself up for future placement on a USports or NCAA varsity team.
