My name is Ezra Krulicki, I play baseball for the Midwestern Ontario Bearcats and have been there for the last 4 years. Over the previous 3 years, I have batted over .350 and just under a .500 on-base percentage, and last year, I received the 16u Offensive Player of the Year award. I am a left-handed batter and I play in the outfield, I can be anywhere out there really, and play a little bit of 1B and 3B when needed. I am interested in playing baseball at the next level and think college baseball is the next step for me, I will start my journey by playing 2 years of junior college baseball before transferring to a Division 1 program.
ACADEMIC GOALS
One academic goal that I have is to get better at each subject, I go to each class knowing the basics but not any of the extra things, and that is something that I can push toward. One goal that I have set for myself is to be in the mid to high 80s in every class, which means doing my work and doing extra things if I have to. This year I would like to be able to raise my GPA as I work harder and try and get better in each class. Ways that I can do this are, always doing my school work and getting it done in class, asking the teacher for help if I need it, and being able to learn different learning styles.
ATHLETIC GOALS
An athletic goal that I have as a student-athlete is to play the sport I love while doing school. After high school, I plan to move out by either going down south to the US or moving up north and playing baseball in Alberta. As I continue playing baseball after high school I would like to build myself up to the MLB draft. After a year of junior college, I can look at my options and see if that would be the time for me to enroll in the draft, if not I will do another year there and transfer to a Division 1 school where I will play until I enroll my junior year. After I am done making a career out of playing baseball I would like to stay down south and coach high school baseball. Coaching high school baseball would include me being able to give some Canadians a chance to play for my school as Canada doesn’t have a great high school baseball league. After coaching high school baseball I would like to accept a job offer from a college/university program and make a living by coaching there.
