Grade 8 Student Marshall Cline receives Pewter Medallion in the Waterloo Wellington Engineering and Science Fair!
Congratulations to Grade 8 student Marshall Cline on receiving the Pewter Medallion in the Waterloo Wellington Science and Engineering Fair (WWSEF)! His experiment on “Sound Localization at Different Frequencies” investigated whether people can identify where a sound is coming from better if the sound is high frequency or low frequency. This could shape hearing aid devices and alarms that require people knowing where the sound is coming from.
