Victus students volunteer at “Fitness Feeds the Community”
On Sunday September 30, Victus Academy was out in the community at St. David Catholic Secondary School for “Fitness Feeds the Community” in support of the Food Bank of Waterloo Region, hosted jointly by Depth Training and Waterloo Fire Rescue. Along with the University of Waterloo women’s field hockey team, KW Titans basketball, Western University’s football team, and Wilfrid Laurier University’s baseball team, Victus Academy represented hockey. Grade 11 students Jason Gee and Nick Donelle-Workman ran a hockey shooting station and a road hockey game. The event raised 1,875 meals.
